Billings Montana is home of the Yellowstone Square Dance Council. Currently, 3 area clubs offer various levels of square dancing and round dancing. All of the clubs dance at Cedar Hall at the MetraPark fairgrounds. All clubs are open and we welcome visitors to attend any of the club dances which are normally held on a weekly basis  from October through April. Two of the clubs dance either Mainstream or Plus. One club is devoted to Round dancing.

Beginner Sessions usually start in January for those people who want to enjoy the benefits of square dancing. Any single or couple are encouraged to attend a session.

The Council also sponsors the New Years Day Dance, and the Magic City Hoedown every year. The Callers and Cuers Association sponsors a Christmas dance. Each club also sponsors special dances and visiting national callers will call and cue dances during the summer.
